Here are answers to the questions we hear most often. If yours isn't here, please call us at (843) 824-8044. We're happy to help.
Yes. We are always welcoming new patients and clients, and we are happy to get you set up. Request an appointment online or call (843) 824-8044, and complete the New Client and New Patient forms before your first visit.
No. Even in a busy stretch, the longest wait for a new appointment is about a week. We also keep a "bump list," so when a cancellation opens up we call the people on it to get them in sooner.
Yes to both. We work with CareCredit, a financing option for planned and unexpected care, and you can apply through the link on our Forms page. Pet insurance is welcome too. In most cases you pay at the visit and your insurance company reimburses you afterward, so check with your insurer about how claims work.
We take care of it for you. After you submit the new client and new patient forms, we call your current or former veterinarian and request your pet's records. Many people worry about hurting their old vet's feelings. Requesting records is a normal part of changing practices, and we are glad to make that call so you do not have to.
We charge a flat rate for an office visit. Call (843) 824-8044 for the current amount. The total for a visit varies widely depending on the tests and vaccines your pet needs and on any conditions we find, so we cannot give an exact total in advance. We are always glad to answer questions about cost.
We see cats and dogs only. We know of practices that see exotic pets and will gladly tell you who to call.
