From the pitter-patter of little puppy and kitten paws to distinguished graying muzzles and a gentler pace, we’re here through every stage and every age.
Here for the life of your pet, because we care.
Sylvie, with her mom Libya. Through every stage and every age.
Every season of a pet’s life brings something different. Early visits help build a healthy foundation. Adult care focuses on maintaining wellness and noticing changes early. As pets mature and enter their senior years, their needs may change again. At Creekside Vet Clinic, care is individualized to the pet in front of us- their age, lifestyle, health history and the family who knows them best.
Those first months are full of firsts. We help new puppies and kittens get off to a healthy start with age-appropriate exams, vaccines, parasite prevention, nutrition guidance and plenty of time for questions.
Healthy adult pets still benefit from regular veterinary care. Wellness exams give us the opportunity to follow changes over time, talk about lifestyle and prevention, and address small concerns before they become bigger ones.
The transition into the mature years can be subtle. Changes in weight, mobility, dental health, energy or behavior may be easy to dismiss as “just getting older.” This is a valuable time to pay attention to trends and adjust care as needed.
Gray muzzles have earned a little extra attention. Senior care is about comfort, mobility, quality of life and recognizing health changes that may come with age - while continuing to enjoy everything that makes your pet uniquely themselves.
Two pets of the same age can have very different needs. Breed, size, lifestyle, medical history and individual health all matter. There is no single schedule that fits every dog or cat, which is why Dr. Crowe and the Creekside team approach each pet as an individual.
We value the opportunity to know our patients over time - to remember the tiny puppy or kitten who first came through our doors, to care for them through the years, and to be there when their pace becomes a little slower. That continuity helps us understand what is normal for your pet and gives families a familiar veterinary team to turn to as needs change.
